OVERVIEW:

Responsible for assisting upper management in meeting project completion schedules, labor and material cost budgets as directed.  The lead Manager on large projects and/or on small projects. In addition, responsible for running one or more crews, maintaining a daily time, material, and event record for job status information on a periodic basis as directed. Front line manager with extensive knowledge of the telecommunications trade and the work involved, along with an ability to resolve problems with appropriate and timely decisions. Additional responsibilities include: pre-planning work and material for a crews plus overseeing safety procedures, quality of workmanship, production costs and the morale and attitude of crews.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct virtual punch walks, review third party audits, Bill of Materials (BOM) and Scope of Work (SOW) on every site.  Monitor work on towers up to 250 ft. with raising numerous antenna’s with safety always in check.  Daily monitoring of contractors to insure work was moving forward.  Controlled tower crew internal issues, lack of motivation and misconduct. Complete close out packages, insured all photos needed were labeled and documents were included.  Provided daily reports to all involved on progress.

RESPONSIBILITIES

. New tower builds for FAA Go Go project, as well as new tower builds for Verizon and upgrades for UMTS for AT&T in AZ, NE, WY, CO, UT, PA. Managed multiple contractor bids, accurate placement of subcontractors with efficient scheduling, redlined CD’s while tracking and managing all change orders. Insured all materials were available to crews prior to installation dates. Provided daily updates, meet with clients to answer questions and provide progress of sites to insure Native American bylaws and requirements were met.

T-Mobile Modernization and LTE project

RESPONSIBILITIES

The project manager needed diligently working with construction management team who had completed 60% of T-Mobile modernization and LTE sites instead of the marked goal of 85%. Implemented policies, line of communication and tracking processes resulting in 100% of quality LTE site completions two weeks prior to launch deadline surpassing T-Mobile milestones.

Extensive knowledge of San Jose/SF Bay area resulted in the completion of 150 microwave new site builds,  resolved jurisdiction and city issues hindering project completion in the fast pace environment of a large Clearwire project.

Verizon/Fiber Tower Fiber to cell site project with microwave backhaul

RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruited by the market construction manager to assist in redirecting the fiber to cell site project with a microwave backhaul for Verizon.   The project was failing completion goals and placing the budget in jeopardy.  Analysis resulted in the immediate review of Verizon’s quality standards with all contractors who were working at their own pace and build standards. Developed a new schedule and daily report form.   It was mandated that all construction managers submit a report to specifically address construction crew activities.  All sites met quality demands and all projects were completed 1 week prior to Verizon’s deadline with minimal impact on budget demands.
